Understanding the product limitations will help you make an informed decision before deciding to make a purchase and to ensure product longevity after purchasing the product.

Extra Thick Clear PVC (all variants) is intended for indoor use only, we do not recommend this product for outside use, or in any internal environment where the product is exposed to regular direct or indirect sunlight, for example in a conservatory / kitchen / dining room without window shade or UV protection - in these un protected situations the product will undergoe excessive shrinkage and may cause surface distortion preventing the product from laying flat.

Extra Thick Clear PVC (all variants) will experience a small amount of natural shrinkage when used indoors, out of direct or regular indirect UV contact. The shrinkage will affect the length of the product, for this reason we provide an overcut on the product product length. Based on the size of the table protector, we calculate the amount of overcut required and add the overcut automatically to your order. When ordering the product you just need to order the size of your table top.

By following the above advice your product will not experience excessive shrinkage. If your product shrinks by more than the overcut we provide then the product has been used outside of the recommended parameters of use and is not covered by our product guarantee.
