Edge finishing and Corners

Blue Jigsaw Vinyl PVC table covers can be finished with an optional bias binding edge finish. The binding is 1cm wide and is stitched onto the edges. For each design, we select a bias binding colour that best suits the design. The purpose of the edge binding is purely decorative. The binding material is made from polycotton fabric.

When we apply bias binding to Rectangle and Square Vinyl PVC tablecovers, we first round off the corners as standard and then apply the bias binding. Circles and Ovals are cut to size and then the bias binding is applied.

If you decide not to have the bias binding applied to your table cover but like the idea of rounded corners on a rectangle or square table cover, there is an 'optional extra' that allows you to order rounded corners.

The purpose of rounding the corners, is to remove material from the corner point that hangs down on each corner of a square and rectangle tablecover.

When working out your tablecover size do not forget to add on the overhang. 20cm is a good size to consider, so add on 40cm to the legth and 40cm to the width of your table top size.
