A few points relating to safety and quality:

• Keep a safe distance from flammable materials
• Always use a candleholder or plate
• The distance between burning candles should be 10cm
• Never place candles in a draught
• Trim the wick to 1cm with scissors
• Cut the rim after the candle has burnt down some way
